I normally have had excellent experience with flight attendents except for the following experience:
I was not feeling well and my leg was bothering me due to Parkinson’s disease and so I moved to a row of empty seats not fully understanding the rules and regulations about changing seats. A Delta flight attendant came up to me and rather than quietly instructing me to return to the assigned seat, proceeded to make condescending remarks loudly and in a hateful tone. I returned to my seat quietly with most of the passengers looking at me as if I had committed a criminal act. It was very embarrassing and humiliating and I was furious for about forty-five minutes. The situation could easily have been handled in a quiet and courteous manner.
I could not read the name of the sflight attendant because of the small size of the Delta identification tag but he was almost six feet tall, slightly overweight, with a flat top hair style. His appearance was unkempt with his tie hanging loose and the top button of his shirt was not fastened. Due to his sloppy appearance, he appeared to be a service technician or maintenance worker rather than a flight attendant. He appeared sober and there was not another incident with any of the passengers during the flight.
I wonder if other have experience the same type of treatment.
