Yes, Delta Really Sucks

As a retired Delta Pilot, I can tell you that Delta and ALPA (Airline Pilots Union) , both really, really, really SUCK !!!
I flew for Delta for 30 years and was fortunate enough to retire EARLY prior to Delta's Bankruptcy. Delta had promised full coverage for Medical Insurance as well as a generous Defined Benefits Retirement payment for the rest of my life......In reality, after the Courts and Lawyers got through with the REORGANIZATION, I WAS LEFT WITH NOTHING !!!
ALL I CAN ASK IS ...... PLEASE ....... DO NOT FLY DELTA !!!
They do not deserve your money and will not pass a cent on to the current Employees who have SACRIFICED SO MUCH trying to keep this WORTHLESS AIRLINE afloat !!!

Maybe you should rename yourself to 'Dan - Oh Crap!'.

Seriously, I wish more former Delta employees would share their stories in the public forums rather than simply email them to me. Let the public know just how bad Delta is, just how little they care, and just MAYBE someone will not consider using Delta for air travel.

Let's face it, ALL AIRLINES SUCK in their own unique way. Delta just happens to SUCK MORE. The bigger they get, the more they suck. Simple formula, really. My advice would be to try the smaller airlines. Many of my last paid flights were on AirTran and I enjoyed those flights much more than any recent paid Delta flight.
