Default On way to my sisters funeral fiasco. Delta employees are heartless

On Thursday August 13th my family and I were flying from LGA to RDU ( Laguardia to Raleigh NC). Our flight was scheduled for 11:20 AM. We arrived at the airport around 9:00 am because I had called Delta the day before requesting seat assignments for my family as we were nervous about missing the flight to my sister funeral on the 13th at 4:00 PM. I was told they could do nothing and we should get to the airport as early as possible and get the seats assigned there. Long story short we got to the line at 5A in Laguardia. We waited over an hour for just 5 or 6 prople in front of us. We got to the front of the line at 11:00 am. The employee Vera looked at my tickets and said she had not opened this flight and we should stand to the side. She took care of two more people and we noticed she assigned seats to our flight. She just walked away when we tried to get her attention and didn't com back. A second employee started helping assign seats. She assigned seats for our flight to another person. She asked who was next and I said I thought we were. She ignored me and asked again. I explained to her that I was going to a funeral and it was important to me to get my seat assignments. She ignored me again and asked who was next. No one but me was responding. I said I was again and she put her hand in my face and asked the question again. I said it was me and she said she would not help me. I said I wanted a manager and I wasn't leaving. She said she would not deal with me but produced the tickets with seat assignments in about 15 seconds. I asked for her name and she hid her name tag and ignord me. We took our tickets and boarded as the flight was going.

Can anybody tell me how to report this heartless animal? She was rude, working as slowly as possible and hostle. She continued this behavior even after I explained my situation. No customer deserves this treament and undr my circumstances, she should be terminated.

Default Heartless Employees

Oooh... This sounds like a strong candidate for my "Delta Dumbass" award. Actually, we might have to start a new award for this "person". How about "Delta Asshole" or "Delta Douchebag"?

The sad part is that Delta really doesn't seem to care very much about its customers or its employees. That attitude became so commonplace several years ago in my dealings with Delta that I began flying other airlines whenever I could, despite the fact that I was a Platinum Medallion, Million Miler, etc.

While I hope to eventually use the 500,000 or so SkyMiles remaining in my account, I gotta tell you I wouldn't be heartbroken if the whole friggin' company went tits (toes, if you require something more PC) up tomorrow. After the initial shock, things would be hopping along pretty soon once the other airlines stepped in.

Of course Delta may be considered too big to fail by some wienie in big government and might be bailed out instead being allowed to disappear. Then again, maybe an Airline Czar will be anointed, I mean appointed, to fix everything that ails the industry. At taxpayer expense, of course. After all, it seems to have worked so well in other industries thus far... NOT!

Default wrong company

Delta doesn't fly LGA-RDU... check which airline you flew on and work it oout from there. It was probably a Delta Connection feeder, like Comair...

Default Wrong Company... Maybe

@juniordrums Perhaps it wasn't a direct flight from LGA to RDU. Perhaps the flight connected in Atlanta (ATL) or Covington (CVG). Hell, given the dumbasses at Delta, they might have connected that routing in Salt Lake City (SLC).

For the record, because the dumbasses at Delta don't always seem to know, the "Cincinnati" airport is actually located SOUTH of the Ohio River, which means that the airport is actually in Covington, Kentucky. Go ahead, use Google Earth and verify it, I'll wait.

Default Filthy Animals

Most of the counter people are useless, brainless, heartless filthy animals. These are not human beings. They could care less about your family or any emergency you may be experiencing. They hate themselves with good reason, they know too well that they are worthless and their lives are meaningless. Most of them have never even been on an airplane, they are too stupid to earn enough to buy an airplane ticket. If they do fly, it's generally underneath with their own kind, the animals in cages. I was at the airport Saturday and the "lead" counter person had just shit all over herself, like an animal. They closed the line so she could go change her pants, leaving a huge line of people to miss their flights. When the other counter person was questioned as to why the line was shut down with all these people waiting, he actually replied "she made doo doo in her pants" but is getting new ones and will be back soon. Soon, these dirty, filthy animals will be replaced with a higher species, Baboons. At least when they shit themselves, it is understandable.

We do not want Delta to fail these asshole will just go to work for another airline. Lets keep them all in one place.

The lady working at the counter in Denver on July 2nd was rude and very unhelpful. First of all she did not tell us that the flight had been canceled/Delayed. Oh and by the way if you delay a flight to its next scheduled departure time that flight is not delayed its canceled. I don't care what rock you live under.secondly she was moving people to the front of the line who were going to miss their flight and she rude commit to me was "These people are going to miss their flight are you?"
I told her no the people in this line are not going to miss their flight because you people canceled it and didn't bother to tell anyone. I also told them once Dawn is home from this trip I will pay the extra $50 to $100 to fly on a better airline then Delta.
